Our Team

Deborah Decker Magers MS CCC-SLP

CEO

Deb has been a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics for over thirty-five years. She initially became interested in the field of speech and language after one of her nephews was born with a cleft lip and palate. Subsequently, she completed her B.A. in Communication Disorders and Sciences at SUNY at Buffalo and her M.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Deb has worked in a variety of educational and medical settings, both pediatric and adult, and worked as a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist for four years in the early 1990s. After settling back in Tampa, she worked at a local private practice and a not-for profit agency before making the decision to venture out on her own in 2010. Over the past eleven years, the practice has continued to grow from a solo practice to a thriving multidisciplinary (ST, OT and ABA) practice with two office locations in the Tampa Bay area.

Deb enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen, dog, Rocket and their many family members and friends. Her interests include watching Jeopardy, Hallmark movies, riding her bike and traveling!
